    Description

    The
    Legions of the Petal Throne
    line was originally created in 1976 by The Old Guard
    with sculpts by William Murray. The miniatures were based on Prof. M.A.R. Barker's designs for his role playing game Empire of the Petal Throne (based in the fictional world of Tékumel). M.A.R. Barker published an article on how the miniatures should be painted in Dragon Magazine (1977)
