Up for auction I have a homemade battery holder for older detectors, I think you know the brand.. Each one is hand made and tested and well made.  They work with
NiCad
or regular c battery's the original holders do not work with
NiCad's
, the button on
rechargeable
battery's is not high enough to make contact with the terminals in the original holder, maybe they made them that way so you would have to buy there
rechargeable
battery packs. I don't care if you copy them, but it takes me an hour to make one . I use surplus military copper circuit board for the contact area. They work perfect in my 6000 and will work in Eagles and Spectrums that use 4 C batteries. To bad Whites has closed up shop, I have found a lot of old coins with there detectors. Do you really want to spend a lot of money on one that will not even work with
rechargeable
batteries in it? Thanks for looking!!!
It does not come with the batteries. You can use rechargeable or regular C batteries in it.
