Yes, accurate can reach 8 inches, enough for beginners and develop children 's love of nature. Not suggested do some professional use.

The normal life of the 9v battery is 8 hours. Wear headphones for longer use, and suggested buying a rechargeable 9 v battery then avoid batteries waste.
Q5. Why keeping make a sound?
- Not suggested to test indoor, there are many things included metals so the detector will keep beeping.
- Reduce the sensitivity and increase the height between the search coil and the ground. Not suggested used in highly mineralized areas.
Q6 Add the function of backlight turn on/off

All Metal Mode & Discrimination Mode & Pinpoint Mode
The all-metal mode
detects metals such as iron, aluminum, gold, bronze, silver, nickel, and foil.
The DISC mode
has three different audio tones. You can eliminate the unwanted by setting up the mode. This precise elimination function can greatly improve your detection efficiency and make the detection more accurate and efficient.
The PP mode

Note:
Never test the metal detector on a floor inside a building. Most buildings have the metal of some kind on the floor, which might interfere with the objects you are testing or mask the signal completely. This will cause the metal detector to continuously produce noise.

Q1:Why can't the detector detect anything?
The reasons why nothing can be detected may but are not limited to the following problems:
1.Sweep the search coil too fast.
2.The search coil is not parallel with the ground.
3.The wire was not successfully connected.
4.The target range is eliminated when setting DISC.
5.The sensitivity set too low.
Q2:What should I do if the metal detector keeps beeping?
1.It is not recommended to test indoors. Metal in the building will interfere with the detection signal and beep continuously.
2.Not recommended for use in highly mineralized areas. For this, you can try to reduce the sensitivity and increase the height between the search coil and the ground.
3.In areas with more metal debris, you can use the DISC mode to select the target you want.
